Mission

We believe in the transformative power of images, not only as representations, but as sites of critical dialogue, collective healing, and self-affirmation. Our mission is to create spaces—through beautifully crafted books and accessible platforms—where SWANA voices can be seen and heard.  Our works aim to dismantle oppressive narratives and reclaim our gaze.

L Nour Editions is founded and managed by Egyptian American photographer Anthony Hamboussi.

Submissions

L Nour Editions welcomes submissions from artists with an open submission policy. We are committed to reviewing all proposals with care and consideration.

Guidelines: All submissions must be sent via email and include the following materials:

A PDF book (visually detailed mock-up) proposed book size, total page count, artist’s statement, project statement, list of any planned or confirmed future exhibitions, information about financial support (grants, funding, etc.) and any additional materials or context relevant to your project

Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, our review process takes time. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

We look forward to seeing your work.
